Wish List

Some of our dear friends and family have asked if they can send us care packages.  We are very well taken care of here and are not in dire need of anything (except sleep sometimes).  However, we love getting a "taste of home" when we open packages from you.  So, here are some things that are either not available or outrageously expensive:

  • Photos and notes from you!
  • Ziploc Bags
  • Aluminum Foil
  • Children’s books and coloring books
  • Fabric softener dryer sheets
  • Spray n Wash
  • Bugspray
  • Bed sheets, towels, and cozy blankets are available, but not the best quality
  • Good 9x9 or 8x8 baking pans, any cake pans, muffin tins, bundt pans, etc.
  • Food Coloring
  • Cake decorating tools/accessories
  • Seasonal things (decorations, house items, treats, etc), especially Christmas, Easter, and fall!
  • Note Cards
  • Craft Supplies and Fabric (I have yet to find a craft supply store here)
  • -White canvases
  • -Paint brushes
  • -Wire
  • -Paint
  • -Cute fabrics and Ribbon (I'm asking Brad for a sewing machine for Christmas)
  • -Fun Scrapbook paper

  • Ritz Crackers
  • Spices- all of them, but especially fall-ish ones (pumpkin pie, apple pie, nutmeg, etc)
  • Tony's
  • Any kind of extract, especially maple, vanilla, and almond
  • Any cake, brownie or bar mix (like the Krusteaz brand)
  • Cocoa powder
  • Tahini (for hummus)
  • Instant pudding
  • Almond Bark
  • Decaf Coffee (instant or ground)
  • Decaf Herbal teas (like celestial seasonings…we like the berry flavors)
  • Individual serving powder drink mixes
  • Unsalted almonds and pecans
  • Liquid Smoke

*Important Note*
Always send packages USPS.
FedEx and UPS packages tend to get held up in customs. They either disappear or we have to pay up to $200 to bail them out.
